Mindful Birdwatching

Join us for a leisurely, guided birding walk through the lush landscapes of Denver Botanic Gardens. Learn basic bird identification and explore the vital role birds play in our ecosystem. Discover which native plants you can add to your own yard to attract local and migratory species.

More than just a nature walk, birding is a powerful mindfulness practice. Studies show that spending time observing nature can lower blood pressure, reduce stress hormones and ease anxiety. Leave this class feeling refreshed and inspired—and with a deeper appreciation for our feathered neighbors! Open to all experience levels.

Special Instructions If possible, please bring your own binoculars; only a limited number of pairs are available to borrow. Expect to walk about 1.5 miles outdoors.
